Mangawhai wastewater scheme expanded

The Mangawhai Wastewater Scheme is rapidly approaching its 3000-connection capacity. Kaipara District Council has agreed to kickstart a multi-year project to increase the capacity of the long-troubled Mangawhai Wastewater Scheme (MWWS), with the future aim of pumping effluent to the nearby golf course rather than the current destination, a farm 13 kilometres away.
