Tennis club bats for new sports space

Four new public racket sport courts could be provided on a former bowling green, if a proposal by Warkworth Rackets gets the go-ahead. The club wants to lease the outside area behind Shoesmith Hall to install a padel court, tennis training court and two pickleball courts, which could also be used for badminton.
