Keeping Kiwi Safe – Free Kiwi Avoidance Training for Pets and Working & Hunting Dogs

Venue: Glorit Hall, 2995 Twin Coast Discovery Highway

Sessions: Quick 10-minute training slots (bookings essential)
Cost: Free of charge – thanks to the generous support of the Rodney Local Board

If you live rurally, own a working or hunting dog, and spend time in kiwi country, Kiwi Avoidance Training is an essential step to help protect our precious native birds.
Whether your dog is new to training or due for a refresher, these short, effective 10-minute sessions use a specialised e-collar technique, guided by an experienced trainer, to teach dogs to avoid the scent of a kiwi.

Join the 200+ local dogs already trained and play your part in keeping kiwi safe across Rodney
