We are excited to announce RICI’s inaugural:

RODNEY SUPPORT & INCLUSION EXPO
DATE: Thursday 15th October 2026
TIME: 10am – 2pm
VENUE: Mahurangi Hope Centre (22 Mansel Drive, Warkworth)

Presented by Rodney Inclusive Communities Initiative (RICI), working with Disability Connect, this Expo has three main intentions:

 Create an opportunity for the public to connect with providers, local services & support groups that care for people with disabilities, chronic illness, neurodivergence, mental health challenges, or ageing‐related needs.
 Empower disabled people and family carers with local information, resources, community, micro-enterprises, and self‐care tools
 Provide a welcoming and informative event for those who may be interested in working or volunteering in this sector

The Expo will bring together over 50 standholders under one roof. The event will be inclusive and culturally welcoming to all, reflecting the diversity of our region.

Visitors can also attend presentations, join the Library, meet Emergency Services, enrol to Vote, and enjoy cultural performances, while learning about volunteering, training, and employment opportunities in this sector. RICI will distribute free copies of our Rodney Support Directory booklet for you to take home.
