Port to Cove Bream Bay Fishing Competition

Adults & junior sections. Fishing from Marsden Pt to Waipu Cove beach, 6am onwards. Lots of mystery prizes up for grabs.

This competition is only landbased fishing from the beach with a Rod and Reel or a handline (max 3 hooks), no drones, kites, cannons, boats or anything to get the line out further than you can throw it. Great family day at the beach with prizes for all ages!

Tickets will be available at venue’s around Bream Bay from Monday 21st April, the week and on the day of the competition! VENUES UPDATED ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE (MAI PLACE BREAM BAY) OR ON MOST LOCAL FACEBOOK GROUPS .

Due to high numbers of people expected this year, we have increased the beach area this year from last years Marsden Point to Ruakaka Rivermouth to go all the way to Waipu Cove. This is approx 20km of beach to enjoy and try catch the winning fish!

We are hoping to see the beach packed with rods and reels and lots of fun, fish and familys enjoying the day!
