Community Sport and Facilities Evening

A Community Sport and Facilities Evening will be held at Whangaparāoa College on Wednesday, February 18, 4.30pm-6pm, bringing together local sports clubs, community groups and active recreation providers from across the Coast. The evening will focus on practical ways to better share facilities, build partnerships and support increased participation in sport and physical activity. The College says discussions will centre on access to school facilities, available funding opportunities and how schools and community organisations can work more closely together. This includes information on Tu Manawa, the funding entity which supports sport and recreation for young people aged eight to 18.
