Board takes lead over dog rules

Dog owners will need to keep their pets on leads in four more local park, beach and reserve areas, Rodney Local Board members decided at their monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 21. The meeting heard that proposals to restrict certain off-leash areas at Warkworth, Baddeleys Beach, Leigh and Snells Beach was opposed by around two thirds of people who submitted feedback last year.
