The Snells Beach Garden Circle annual Spring Show is returning to its roots at the newly renovated Mahurangi East Community Centre on Saturday, September 6, from 1pm to 3.30pm.
Flowers in full bloom and fresh garden produce will be displayed in various sections including spring bulbs, garden-variety flowers, creative, camellias, open, fruit and vegetables, and children’s.
There will also be raffles, afternoon tea, and a plant sale table.
Co-convenor Barbara Carpenter says that all profits from the trading tables, raffles and afternoon teas are going to be divided between Homebuilders Family Support Services and the Warkworth Community Patrol.
“People really enjoy the show and we always give back to the community,” she says.
In 2022, the club held one of its most successful Spring Shows ever, raising $1200 for the St John Ambulance and $1200 for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter service (MM, Nov 9, 2022).
