The Heart Foundation is looking for volunteer collectors for its annual street appeal, which will be held next February.

A spokesperson says volunteering is a fun and easy way to make a difference, and all proceeds go towards funding vital lifesaving heart research. Heart disease is New Zealand’s single biggest killer, claiming the lives of more than 6500 New Zealanders every year.

The appeal will be held on February 23 and 24. To volunteer, email bigheartappeal@heartfoundation.org.nz or call 0800 BIG HEART (0800 244 432).
