Congratulations to Juanita and Stu Oldfield who are this week’s recipients of a gift box from Chocolate Brown. They were nominated by Katie Burton who wrote:
“Juanita and Stu Oldfield consistently go above and beyond in the time and energy they give to the Wellsford community. Most recently, they played a significant role in organising the centennial events for the Wellsford Rugby Club – an enormous undertaking that required extensive planning, coordination and commitment behind-the-scenes.
In addition, they dedicate countless hours to managing and coaching local sports teams, supporting young athletes. Their positive influence extends far beyond sport – they are exceptional role models who lead with integrity, generosity and genuine care. Much of their work happens quietly in the background, without recognition, simply because they care deeply about making a difference.
Our community is stronger, more connected and more supportive because of people like them. They embody the true spirit of volunteerism and community service, and I cannot think of more deserving recipients of recognition.”
