Tales of old Warkworth will be on the menu at Warkworth Museum this month, when the next Tea & Talk session is held on Friday, August 12.
Museum stalwart and local history expert Brenda Yoxall has curated a diverse collection of old stories, inspired by historical black and white photographs of well-known Warkworth landmarks that are featured in the museum’s newly published 2023 calendar.
The talk starts at 10am and will be followed by tea and biscuits.
Entry costs $5 and bookings are advised – email warkworthmuseum@xtra.co.nz or call 425 7093. Calendars are available from the museum, price $20.
