Warkworth resident Sandra Haycock has been overwhelmed by the generosity of the community after receiving dozens of donations of wool to help her knit clothing for prematurely born babies.

Sandra now has over 40 woolen jerseys and hats to donate to Middlemore Hospital and enough wool to knit many more.

“There’s a huge amount of good will in this community,” Sandra says. “This will keep me busy for the next couple of months.”

Sandra is happy to accept more donations of wool for her campaign. Donations can be dropped off at Warkworth Vets, 18 Neville Street.
