Auckland Transport is planning changes to the lane layout at the East Coast Road and Hibiscus Coast Highway intersection, with the aim of reducing congestion and improving traffic flow for motorists and bus users. The proposed changes include allowing all three lanes on the East Coast Road approach to turn right onto Hibiscus Coast Highway, increasing capacity at one of the area's busiest intersections.
