Coast Youth Community Trust (CYC) is well known in Whangaparāoa for its annual sale of Christmas pine trees to fund its support work with local youth.

This year for the first time, it has added a market event to bring the community together. The Local Christmas Market will be held on Saturday, December 17 in the bottom carpark of Whangaparāoa Baptist Church (733 Whangaparāoa Road), from 10am-2pm.

A total of 20 stalls will feature crafts, clothing, and more. along with face painting for the children. Food trucks, a sausage sizzle and candy floss are available. Santa will be there for photos and of course CYC’s Christmas trees (priced from $55) can be purchased.
