Warkworth squash coach and Masters player Kaye Jackson is running a school holiday programme.
The coaching is aimed at kids aged seven and over, with no prior skills required, and will be held at the Warkworth Squash Club on September 25, 27 and 29, from 9am to midday.
On the agenda will be skills training, dodge ball, squash games and a mini-tournament on the final day.
“The aim of the programme is to expose more children to the game of squash which has been scientifically proven to be the best sport for all round fitness,” Kaye says.
“The beauty of squash, apart from keeping you fit, is you don’t have to worry about the weather – wind, rain, sunburn – as it is all inside.”
