Kaipara sportsfield project called wasteful

A plan by Healthy Waters to upgrade the wastewater system at Bourne Dean Domain, at Kaipara Flats, has run afoul of some local residents. Healthy Waters is the Auckland Council department responsible for managing the region’s stormwater and flood resilience. Flood resilience manager Carl Hewison says the current system at the sports ground is “out-of-date and poorly functioning”.
