Netball Rodney Centre has been granted $400,000 towards building a new sports hub at its Centennial Park HQ in Wellsford.

The money is a share of $9.5million approved by Auckland Council on July 29 for 22 projects in its 2025 Sport and Recreation Facilities Investment Fund.

The netball hub includes covered courts and new player and spectator facilities.

Centennial Park is scheduled for a series of long-overdue upgrades and improvements as part of a council-approved Masterplan that was signed off two years ago.
