People are being encouraged to recycle unwanted or unused mobile phones and devices to mark International E-Waste Day on October 14, followed by NZ Recycling Week from October 19 to 25.
The mobile phone recycling campaign helps give old devices a new life while raising money for Sustainable Coastlines, a charity working to protect the country’s waterways and coastlines.
Devices can be left at Less.Waste Warkworth on Lawrie Road, Resene ColorShop Warkworth or Noel Leeming.
