Auckland Council staff want to move the skatepark to 290 Mahurangi East Road (below).
The long-awaited rebuild of Snells Beach skatepark may turn into a relocation. Instead of upgrading the old concrete skate area behind the library, Auckland Council staff are now proposing that a new facility is built between the police office and the tennis courts.
