The Mangawhai Business Association is excited to welcome two new members to its team – Julia Ingham and Jeremy Stead – as it gears up to launch an innovative e-directory, app and loyalty programme designed to support local businesses and shoppers.
Mangawhai Business Association chair Stephen Owles says Ingham is a lawyer with more than a decade of experience and will bring a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Mangawhai’s business community. She and her family live on a lifestyle block in the area, and she is passionate about helping local entrepreneurs thrive.
Stead is a digital marketer and real estate photographer, who has expertise in helping businesses grow through smart automation and streamlined systems. He and his family live in rural Mangawhai.
Owles says Stead is eager to put his skills to work connecting businesses with customers in new, efficient ways.
“The association is currently securing funding to develop a new e-directory and app – a one-stop digital hub to help residents and visitors easily discover and support Mangawhai’s incredible range of businesses,” Owles says.
“From cafés and retail to trades and services, the platform will put local options at everyone’s fingertips. Plans are also underway for a members-only loyalty discount card, rewarding shoppers while driving more traffic to participating businesses. It’s all about keeping Mangawhai’s economy strong and connected.”
