A networking evening to celebrate the roles played by rural women will be held in Northland on Thursday, September 26.

Women of the Land will feature a two-course dinner prepared by Platinum Beef + Lamb NZ chef Brenton Low, plus three speakers – Northland farmers Kathryne Easton and Kiri Edwards, plus “people interpreter” Allison Mooney.

The event will take place at the Hihiaua Cultural Centre in Herekino Street, Whangarei at 5.30pm. Tickets cost $25.
