Police are warning would-be fuel thieves they will be swiftly tracked down and prosecuted, following an arrest at a construction site in West Auckland last week. A 35-year-old man is due to appear in Waitākere District Court after allegedly stealing fuel from a digger in Laingholm, with officers following a trail of diesel from the scene to locate and arrest him.
