United pink breakfast raises funds

United Real Estate Warkworth hosted its inaugural Pink Breakfast this month to raise money for the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation.

Despite the chilly morning, more than 80 participants joined the event at the Bridgehouse in Warkworth to enjoy breakfast and listen to guest speaker, Anne Thorpe, talk about her experience of fighting breast cancer.

Through raffles and fundraising, United Real Estate raised $2000.

“We are proud to support such a wonderful charity and to do ‘our bit’ for the foundation. We also relished the chance to thank clients by hosting the breakfast, and we look forward to many more to come in future years.”
