CDL Whites hit its way through seven rounds of hockey to take out the Warkworth Hockey Club Summer Competition last month.
A record 24 teams participated in the tournament and club committee member Monique Hatfull is pleased with the season.
“We had one big grading round this time instead of social and competitive games, and that seemed to create even competition, which people enjoyed,” Hatfull says.
“We had a number of new groups playing, which brings variety and is a good sign for the summer nines competition coming up.”
Runners-up in the competition were Navy Seals, while RMC came third and Stretch and Sweep fourth.
