TOSSI - Sunday in the Park
Join the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary Society (TOSSI) for their regular ‘Sunday in the Park’ community work morning at Tāwharanui Regional Park
Meeting at 9:00 am rain or shine at the Woolshed, this hands-on event is a fantastic opportunity to explore restricted areas of the sanctuary while contributing to vital local conservation efforts, including weeding, nursery work, and the expanding Tāwharanui wetland restoration project
No prior experience is necessary
Tools and gloves are fully provided, and volunteers of all ages and fitness levels are welcome
Your hard mahi wraps up at 12:30 pm, followed by a complimentary, BBQ lunch at the Woolshed as a thank you from the team
