The inflatable water park called Waterworld is coming to Red Beach this summer and Mahurangi Matters has two free passes to give away. Each pass gives four people entry to Waterworld.
The inflatable obstacle course, anchored just offshore, provides slips, slides and jumps for anyone over the age of five years. It has been in Auckland for four years, but this will be the first time it’s added the Hibiscus Coast to its schedule.
Obstacles include a trampoline, ball run, spinning obstacle, stairs and a pipe. New for this season are slides, blobs, swings, balancing balls and slipping waves.
Covid-19 vaccinations will be mandatory for all participants of vaccination age. Strict protocols will also be in place to ensure social distancing so the waterpark can operate safely – this involves reducing the numbers on the course, and more time between sessions.
The Red Beach dates are December 30-January 4.
